DECONSTRUCTION/
FUNCTION SHIFT
A study of objects beyond their assigned roles.
When function disappears, material speaks.
material study / object transformation / 2024
Instead of designing new forms, existing one is disrupted.
Function is removed to define
a new visual logic.
What happens when an object loses its function?
Can material exist
without meaning?

PROCESS
02 / disruption
Function is interrupted.
Meaning starts to fade.
03 / reassembly
Fragments
are recombined.
Not to restore,
but to shift.
03 / reassembly
Fragments are recombined.
Not to restore, but to shift.
04 / reduction
Only what remains
is essential.
Breaking the form.
Separating parts.
01 / dissembly
A new visual language is created.
05/ new role
By removing function, objects reveal their raw materiality, opening space for new interpretations.

The project explores the tension between order and decay, use and uselessness, context and emptiness.
Deconstruction becomes
a method of transformation.
Encased in translucent epoxy resin, organic and artificial elements are suspended together: a flower and a small toy car.
The car emerges from the surface,
acting as a a distorts symbol
of a fish breaking though water.
The object functions as an abstract fragment — a constructed interpretation
of an ocean piece.

From function to form.
From object to material.
REFLECTION
Without function,
object lose their certainty.

Material remains.
Honest, unpredictable, indifferent.

Deconstruction is not destruction.
It is a way of seeing differently.
